Underserved Groups

Anietronic is committed to improving energy access for underserved communities in Nigeria. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we will donate free prepaid smart meters annually to families in economically disadvantaged areas where we operate. This program aims to:

• Bridge the metering gap by providing households and small businesses with access to prepaid meters.

• Enhance energy efficiency through accurate billing, reducing estimated charges and disputes.

• Support economic empowerment by ensuring fair energy costs, reducing financial burdens on low-income consumers.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Each year, Anietronic will work with local communities, electricity distribution companies (DisCos), and relevant stakeholders to identify areas with the highest need for metering solutions. Selection will be based on factors such as:

• Lack of access to metered electricity.

• Financial hardship in communities (poverty index, GDP per capita).

• DisCos’ franchise areas where Anietronic operates (Abuja, Kano, and Benin).
